As to the sudden jump then decline of art quality? I have a photo of George doing that LOOK, so I had a reference, so it turned out a) not crap, and 2) looking like George.

BUT MAN HE IS TOTALLY NOT INNOCENT!

Eastyness is because everyone assumes that Nil = Chinese. So he takes it and runs with it where needed. And, well, the place where he learned it has to be east of SOMEWHERE....
